Hello!
My name is Veralyn Werner...
I hold a Master of Science in Communication Disorders and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from NovaSoutheastern University. I am certified and licensed in the areas of Speech/Language, Special Education and Special Education Administrator in Massachusetts.
I am a licensed speech and language pathologist with over 23 years experience in the Massachusetts area. I currently work in Framingham Public Schools and have a private practice that focuses on children with a wide range of needs. I am skilled in treating autism, apraxia, dysarthria, phonological processing, developmental delay, stuttering, central auditory processing disorder, pre-literacy and receptive and expressive language difficulties.
Individual therapy, co-treatment with families, collaboration with other professionals, and extensive trainings have provided me with the experience and advanced knowledge in a variety of therapy techniques including sensory integration, applied behavioral analysis (ABA), LIPS, Visualizing and Verbalizing and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System).
I am a special education consultant and will provide support for you and your family in special education team meetings, preparing and reviewing special education paperwork, evaluations and developing goals and objectives for your child’s Individualized Educational Program (IEP) while collaborating with your child’s special education team.
