    Completely corrected my son's lisp by

    My son struggled to pronounce "s" correctly. This corrected it with about 6 months of regular use when he was little. He has no lisp now, he is 12. One would never know he did. I am still amazed at how this product changed his speech overnight! Thank you!

    Working on frontal lisps with teens by

    I used it for 2 teenagers in my high school who have frontal lisps. They both were able to produce the /s/ sound with the speech buddy but did find it a little foreign. Nonetheless they found it to be a positive experience using it. The hard part is getting them to produce the /s/ sound without the speech buddy - but we are still working on it.

    I have used the Speech Buddy tool with my client (and 8 year old boy) who had a frontal lisp. I have been extremely impressed with the quick and easy correction of this speech error. Within three months, my student exhibited 90-100% accuracy of the /s/ sound in conversation!     I just tried the /s/ tool with a patient who has been working on correcting her lateral /s/ for a long time. She always followed my cues for tongue placement and airflow, but was becoming frustrated because her /s/ still did not sound quite right. We tried the Speech Buddy today for the first time. I recorded her saying a word with and without the /s/ buddy, and she immediately noticed the difference! How exciting for both of us! Her production of /s/ with the Buddy is still not quite perfect, but it's better, and a step in the right direction.

    I tried the "s" speech buddy with 2 children. One child took to it right away and 4 months later, he is finished with therapy. The other child strongly disliked it and there was no way I could make it work for her, even with all of my very best motivating tricks and tools.

    Great idea by

    I used my S speech buddy with two clients. Both are hearing impaired and will benefit from using these great tools. We were able to get some of her best S sounds today and I am thrilled. She really benefited from the kinesthetic feedback she received since she can't rely on the auditory system. She is an adorable child (so is her brother).     My student's mother is the guidance counselor at the student's school so I see her every time I'm there.  I always review what we did in therapy and what I want them to do for homework with the mom after each session.  We mainly wanted to use the Speech Buddy University to enhance her homework. I told my student today to log in at home this week and see what she was able to do on it. We purchased the Speech Buddy set for this particular student.  Despite her being a straight A student and having a wonderful support system at home traditional therapy had failed to eliminate her lateral lisp.  I could not believe how great her speech sounded as soon as we began using the Speech Buddy tools!  We had to run to her Mom's office to let her hear too!  She was thrilled!

Speech Buddies Connect and Speech Buddies Games allow users to communicate with other users on the platform. We define users as “speech-language pathologists,” or “speech therapists,” and “parents.” The intention of Speech Buddies Connect is to allow parents looking for speech therapy services for their children to contact and communicate with licensed Speech-Language Pathologists who provide speech services. Speech Buddies Games allows students to practice online exercises that can help improve their speech and articulation. Speech Buddies Games can be used by Students, Parents, and Speech-Language Pathologists.

By using this service you agree that:

  • You are licensed in your state or country to provide speech services as a Speech Language Pathologist, Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, Speech and Language Therapist, or other health professional.
  • You have necessary permission from the student and parent, if necessary, to provide speech services.
  • You have permission to perform lessons and exercises with a given student.
  • You will not solicit members of Speech Buddies Connect for purposes other than providing private speech and language therapy services.
  • You will maintain respectful and professional communication during communication with any and all members of the Speech Buddies community.

  • Speech Buddies, Inc. takes reasonable steps to protect your personally identifiable information as you transmit your information from your computer to our site and to protect such information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
